Core Exercises

Core exercises are the most important part of any well balanced workout routine. If you picture your body as a house, your core is the foundation. No matter how pretty the rest of the house is, if the foundation is not solid it will all begin to break down eventually. ALL movement starts from the core and radiates outward.  A strong core and good diet and weight loss program are key to looking and feeling great.

Your core includes all the muscles in your Lower Back, Stomach and Hips. Many of these muscles are located deep inside your body so you can never see the results of some of these exercises but you will definitely be able to feel them. These muscles serve many functions including...

1) Supporting your back

2) Stabilizing your spine

3) Protecting internal organs

4) Improving your balance

5) Generates explosive power

Every time I exercise I try to include some form of core strengthening exercises. I can't stress the importance of this enough. If you are trying to get a flat stomach or get rid of your love handles then take a look at these core workouts

Yoga and Pilates are both great ways of getting a total body workout that will always stress your core muscles. Too many people only exercise their stomach muscles but the truth is, in order to have good balance in your body you need to work all of your body as well as a good weight loss plan.   Always remember to include core workouts in your exercise routines and you will have a great base to build the rest of your body around.

Belly fat is one of the biggest complaints most people have about their body.  If you are looking for six pack abs, these core exercises and a good diet are key to your success.
