Hip Exercises

Hip exercises are not glamorous and they certainly are not going to get you noticed like 6 pack abs will but they are still vital to any workout routine. Keeping your hips strong and flexible will allow you to feel younger longer as well as help prevent all kinds of activity related injuries.

Hip flexor injuries are one of the most common injuries associated with core weakness. The hip flexors are made up of three different muscles that help flex the hip, and provide stability for the lower body.

Unfortunately these exercises are probably not going to make your hips smaller, the only way to do that is by doing Cardio Exercises and following a proper diet, but they will help to keep you strong and injury free.

Yoga and Pilates are a great way to strengthen and stretch your hips and are a great addition to your workout routines.
