Six Pack Abs
Six pack abs are what we all dream of having. This desire can get us
to try out different fat burners, diet pills, nutritional and slimming supplements,
while eating almost nothing and forgetting to exercise. This is VERY
bad, because we are forgetting about the need for proper nutrition and
exercise. This
is the only way we can have the six pack abs we want. In order to have
the needed
energy and vitality to continue practicing fitness exercises
we need to have a proper nutrition
plan developed,
including all the needed vitamins, minerals and supplements. The
majority of which can only be found in food.
For example the
consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables is needed every day to get
vitamin A,C and E, which not only give us energy and protect our general
health, but they are also working as strong antioxidants eliminating
the harmful toxins from our body. Milk and dairy food consumption gives
us the calcium supplement our bones need to get stronger for our workout
routines. More protein, fiber and minerals are needed for our weight
loss and muscle gain exercises to be effective.
We think only
magical gym machines and diets combined with fat burners can help us get
the six pack abs we need, but this is wrong. There are only a few
exercises you need to perform. Even 3-4 times a week at home will be
enough to see some quick results.
One effective abdominal exercises are sit ups, which if practiced
properly and repeated for 10-12 reps are very effective and useful. Just
make sure you do not use your arms to pull you up. This will not only
add stress to your neck and back but your abs will see no results
because your arms are doing all the work. Another exercise consists ofraising your knees until touching your elbow, then lowering them back
slowly, without touching the floor; this exercise has to be repeated at
least 10 times. Now, combine these sit ups, stretching and leg crunch
exercises with 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise to help your
heart rate remain stable during the work out.
It is not true that
you have to exercise every day. Working out every day will not give
your abdominal muscles time to rest, recuperate and grow. While it is
true that your abdominal muscles recuperate more quickly than other
muscles, they still need time to rest. This rest will help your abs
respond more effectively to the exercise workouts.
