Weight Loss Tips

If you are reading this it is because you are an extremely courageous and strong person, so don't ever forget it. For most of us this is not the first time we have tried to lose weight and get in shape. Some of us have actually succeeded only to see it come back when we went back to our old eating and exercise habits.

I think it really comes down to the reason we want to get fit. Instead of trying to lose weight so people won't make fun of you, or so you will get a date...Lose the weight so You can be the best person you can possibly be.

Too often we don't even realize how being "unhealthy" affects the rest of our lives. We may have lower self esteem, we often retreat from social situations, we may not apply ourselves in areas that we could and often we are not willing to compete at other activities because of fear of failure and rejection.

If there is one thing I have learned in life it is that the more we like ourselves (in a healthy, non arrogant, non selfish way) the more other people seem to like or be attracted to us. I cannot stress this enough...There are no guarantees in life, BUT, there is a great quote that says...
